2012 Shareowner Terms
_____I understand that I am purchasing a Cow Dairy Herd Share from Windsor Dairy.
_____I promise I will never buy raw cow's milk from Windsor Dairy. I promise I will never sell the raw cow's milk I receive as my share from Windsor Dairy. I understand that doing so would be in violation of Colorado Statute 25-5.5-117.
_____I understand that in order to receive Windsor Dairy’s raw milk, I need to fill in all requested information on the Bill of Sale, the Cow Boarding Contract, read, initial and sign this document (Shareowner Terms), read and sign the Testing Procedures, and submit all FOUR (4) documents with payment. Checks are payable to Windsor Dairy. (Electronic Payment via PayPal or bank account is also accepted).
_____If I am no longer willing or able to participate as a Shareowner in Windsor Dairy, I may choose to sell my share to another responsible party or donate my share for Windsor Dairy to allocate to a family in need. If I choose to sell my share, I am responsible for re-selling my share, including transferring any Cow Boarding Fees, Delivery Fees, Jar and Ring Fees. Windsor Dairy does not refund Share purchase price, Cow Boarding Fees, Delivery Fees or Jar and Ring Fees.
_____I understand that Windsor Dairy must be notified in writing and I must receive confirmation from Windsor Dairy of approval of any such transfer of responsibility for my share. I understand that cancelling my Cow Boarding Contract with Windsor Dairy requires 30 days notice.
_____ I understand that the payment of my Cow Boarding Fee allows me to have access to my Share of raw cow’s milk. I understand that my Cow Boarding Fee will be available to me as dairy credits. I may apply these credits towards Windsor Dairy raw cow’s milk or raw cow’s milk cheeses.
_____I understand that the Share consists of raw cow’s milk. I understand that the Cow Boarding is for raw cow’s milk ONLY and does not apply to eggs, meat or any other non-cow’s milk products that Windsor Dairy has available.
_____I promise to return the glass jars and rings each week washed, clean, dry and covered so that they can be properly sanitized for reuse. I understand the continual rotation of the glass jars and rings is imperative to the ability of Windsor Dairy to provide raw milk for the Shareowners.
_____I agree to pay a yearly jar fee for 3 sets of jars and rings. This is $6/year per quarter or half share, and $12/year per full share. I understand the continual rotation of the glass
jars and rings is imperative to the ability of Windsor Dairy to provide raw milk for the Shareowners.
_____I understand that if I pick up my shares at any location other than Windsor Dairy located at 6427 WCR 68.5, Windsor, CO 80550, I am responsible to pay an additional 10% delivery fee on my Cow Boarding Fee. I understand that this fee is to help cover the costs of vehicle maintenance, fuel and personnel costs for Windsor Dairy providing this delivery service.
_____I understand that Boarding Fees, Jar and Ring Fees and Delivery Fees are subject to change based on costs incurred as a direct result of supplying these services/items by Windsor Dairy.
_____I understand milk availability is subject to weather conditions, unforeseen natural occurrences, a positive pathogen test result, and Acts of God beyond the control of Windsor Dairy. In the event of a positive pathogen result, Windsor Dairy reserves the right to not distribute milk.
_____I understand that shares will be available for pick up on the days and at locations decided by Windsor Dairy. If I am unable to pick-up my share, I understand that my share will be forfeited if notice of change has not been received by Windsor Dairy by Wednesday at noon prior to scheduled pick up.
_____I understand that if, for any reason, I am unable to pick up my share on my assigned day, I may designate another Shareowner or Shareowner representative to pick up my share.
_____I will raise any concerns or issues I may have with Windsor Dairy routinely, constructively and in a timely manner to aid Windsor Dairy in achieving excellence in serving my nutritional and gastronomic needs!
